Hat help needed!

Today I picked up a pair of these and I thought "I need a hat to go with them" so I thought of this ala the Blues Brothers. Found a place selling the hats online for cheap enough but the question is - how does one size one's head for purchasing a piece of such marvellous headwear?

I'd imagine if you get one of those tailors tape measures and wrap ir around your bonce it'll be the best way!

I forsee a black suit and white shirt at the next beers, assuming I can get a hat to fit mein noggin.

you could go into a real life shop that sells hats and ask the man to measure it..
i know there's not too many millners left in the city, but the old men in the men's department in Clery's can probably still do that, or else there's a shop on nassau st that sells loads of hats so they probably know about it too..

I saw a contraption once in a magazine, and the device was called a Titfer Tilt.

It accurately measured the angle of the tilt of your hat, once the hat was placed on your head.

Any accurate adjustments to the angle of your hat tilt, could be made by stepping up to the Titfer Tilt.

Not sure about the sizings to be honest, but i must say, excellent choice of hat!

If your head is big then you will be on the last few bits of a baseball cap adjustment strip. If your head is small like mine, then the first few on the strip. If your head is medium sized then I think you may be somewhere in between these two on the strip.
