I fancy northern alliance but not happy about 12/1 does anyone know of any smaller bookmakers offering slightly better odds, say 14's or 16's

    Cheers

My Valley @25/1 WILL WIN ! Back him now!

My Valley is a mare and has no chance whatsover of getting into the weights for the race as she is in the high 40s at present. There is usually a maximum field of 20 (I think?) and there is no chance of that many defections.

Dal Cais and Bambootcha look to have solid chances at the weights but I am not confident of either getting into the race and they are in the 30s at the moment.

Far more likely that My Valley will go for the GPT although I have not looked at her flat rating to see whether she would be competitive. If she doesn't go for this, then the handicap on the Sunday looks a better option. I have a feeling that Migmatite may be set up for the GPT, but we will have a better idea when the entries are released.

My Valley won at Galway twice last year.

I know she won twice last year but that does not improve her chances in the Galway hurdle as she has no chance of getting into the race. She obviously acts around the track which is a big benefit and race on Sunday may be the best fit for her. There is also the handicap hurdle on the opening day that she could go for and try and stop Weld farming the opening 3 races.
