i think you have to put these into the clear bags they give you. I did this with my nurofen and pill when i was going and all went fine.

    No problem at all.

No problem at all with anything like that, and there is no need to bother with the putting them in a seperate bag either. The daft carry on with the ziplock bags is only to do with liquids and nothing else.

If in doubt, bring a letter from your doctor if it's prescription meds. Your bog standard paracetamol generally won't be an issue

Changing the title as this hasn't anything to do with Ryanair :)

I always bring the prescription with me when I'm carrying prescription meds. I've never been asked for it, but it's no hardship to bring it.

They really do not care about whatever medication you might be carrying on you. Never ever put your medication in your hold baggage though, always carry it on the plane with you. Not once have I been held up for questioning about my medications for more than the 2 seconds it takes to say what it is, and I do actually have stuff on me that could be dangerous to other people, and they have never cared about any prescriptions or if things were in their original labled packaging or not.

Just be aware that in some countries codiene based painkillers (eg Solpadeine & Nurofen Plus) are illegal and there can be serious penalties for attempting to import these.
