I'm going to grow a beard. I have to, I feel incomplete without one.

Watch this space I'll tell you all about my progress :pac:

    Here's a beard that I grew when I was 17, back in October '06

Go for it man. You won't be disappointed. I am down down to just the chin beard right now. Very light.

Day 1: There were a few minor issues today. The main one is I'll be going to Brussells and Amsterdam on August 7th and if I see myslef with a beard in the mirror while I'm tripping on musihies I could **** my head up for life. And two, I really like women and women really don't like beards.

Verdict: I'll stay growing for a while and see how it goes!

NO!!! Don't do it!! Youll ruin your life.
Do you know how much work having a beard actually is? You may have to go through the patcy stage and look weird. Also, you will have to stay in at night time and wash your beard with shampoo and conditioner while all your friends are out enjoying their youth-ful looks. You will have to brush it, only to spend a while out in the wind and have it mess it all up again. How would you really like that kind of life? And then when you take a break from having a beard, you will still have that horrible blue stubble look and white patch on your face. Its a big decision to make and you may need a bit more maturity. Are you even in the financial position to grow a beard?
I think you have to think more carefully about this. What would your parents say?
    I d say get a puppy.

My missus insists on me having a beard and moustache. She won't let me shave them off which is just as well. If something had to go it wouldn't be the boys!

A very good woman friend of mine believes that kissing a man without a beard is like eating porridge without the honey :D!! Go for it man!!

A lot of my female friends love beards.

I agree with brianthebard also, it can be an icebreaker. Mine has been. I get random people walking up to me in the pub and asking me about my beard a lot. But I didn't grow it for that reason, I grew it for myself because I like it. :)

tried the beard 3 weeks ago, didn't shave for a week, but was patchy, shaved it off, leaving the goatie, two more weks later, the goatie looks a lot better than me previous attempt to grow one

    :o
