Dumped girlfriend and it's a weight off my shoulders

    I split up with my girlfiend yesterday and it is such a relief to get that over and done with. Stressing over how and when to finish it. Finally no more nagging and texting and having to explain where I am or where I was and who I was with and why I don't say I Love You enough and getting cross examined for every slight remark.

    That was my third serious relationship and at this stage I honestly think that modern day relationships cause more stress than happiness. My own experience of relationships is that you make sacrifices to please someone else all the while making yourself miserable. You constantly make comprimises to please your partner or just to prevent them from getting angry.

    When I finish work today Im going to go home flake out on the couch, play xbox all evening and not feel guilty about it.

    Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
