What is this film (Was on RTE last week)??? Driving me insane!

Any film buffs help me identify this?
I saw the end of a film last week on telly and I've no idea what it was - something that's really annoying me. My limited knowledge is preventing me from finding anything on google that could help.


What happened in what I saw:

• There was this guy with greyish hair, he had two piercings in his ear.
• He went into a hospital with a video and told someone there that he & his wife had recently lost a baby, I think the video was an ultrasound.
• The girl/receptionist told him that the video was ten years old.
• He had a sort of flashback, this girl (from what I can gather) told him she'd been raped by the pool and had got pregnant (then told him that that was the ultrasound on the tape I think). Then I think he killed the guy who supposedly raped her.
• He killed himself at the end.

I think it was based on a true story too...

Can anyone help? It's really annoying me!

can't find anything on teh interwebs about last week, but I have last weeks tv guide at home, can you be more specific about when and where it was on? if I remember I'll have a look when I get home

I think it was on 2, could've been RTE 1 though...
I reckon it was early in the week (maybe even the weekend), it probably ended before 11, as my Dad was still watching tv after it (he goes to bed before 12, earlier if there's nothing on)

Not wanting to cause any hassle here, but whatever film it is...the OP has kinda given away the ending....:(

It's definitely "Fatal Error" aka (Fatal Desire) which was on last Tuesday the 15th on RTE at 10:05. I know because I had a quick look on IMDb boards and look at the second post in this thread:
