MPEG4 CAM for DTT

I receive DTT from Three Rock via TV's built-in FreeView Decoder
    I can receive RTE1/2/TV3/TG4 - good quality :)
My TV has MPEG2 decoder only

I'm looking for an answer to a few queries
    1. When MPEG4 transmissions start I assume I'll need an MPEG4 CAM - right?
    2. A lot of the CAMs out there have a SmartCard slot in them.
Will they allow me to receive RTE1/2/TV3/TG4 and Radio channels in MPEG4 without fitting a SmartCard? SmartCard would be for scrambled content?
    3. Does anyone know if any of the proposed DTT bidders will sell CAMs/Cards as well as STBs?
    4. Can anyone recommend a suitable CAM?

    no.
Not till we know what system of encyption is used.

But a Neotion pocket Duo MODULE will fit in the CAM slot (called a CI) to convert the MPEG4 to MPEG2. In can in theory work as a CAM too, but only for some systems.

    Wait and see what happens.
