Thanks to Johnny who recommended this tune: Shapeshifters - Chime which I absolutely love right now... Going on my last thread of olds school tunes, can anyone recommend some good recent remixes of old skool tunes like the one above?

Cedric Gervais remix of De lacy's - Hideaway

Couldn't find a full version of it on youtube but there's a few places to download it if doing a google search.

    david darell_children
delerium- silence (niels van gogh and thomas gold mix
look for hoxton whores tracks as they tend to be updates of classic tracks.theyve done a remix of hideaway(granted these arent new but if you havent heard them)they also did a remix of gypsy woman, mother pride and too many others to mention.
eric prydz remix of good life by inner city(again not exactly new but you may not have heard it)
also ian pooley -higgledy piggledy is a remake of a classic funk track that alot of people should know.
honestly there are too many to mention but those are ones that are sitting in my cd case at the moment

I just double checked, the Ian Pooley track is from about 97 alright but recently reissued with other mixes. I loved that track back then, great label too Force Inc.

Here's 2 mate, a remix of Happy Clappers is not too bad although the original pisses all over it.

Dunno if you could consider this as old skool probably not although it is 8 years old, again the original pisses all over the remix

Another few, again these do not do the originals justice, only The Shapeshifters this year have done a brilliant remix, the rest are either brutal or just average.
