Hi Guys, apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I'm just wondering how does one go about finding a new doctor. I've been living in Dublin for the last 5 years and during this time i've gone back home (down the country) for see my family doctor anytime i needed to but i think its about time I found one in Dublin.

Is it just a matter of going into any doctors pactice, filling out a medical history form and seeing the doctor or are only certain practices seeing new patients these days?

Also could anyone recommend one in the Ballsbridge/Donnybrook area?

    Cheers.

Are you a GMS or private patient? If the latter The Albany Clinic in Lower Fitzwilliam Street is good. Just call them and ask can you register with them.

There's a private medical centre in Stillorgan (near the shopping centre). It has dentists, allergy specialists etc. I think it has several GPs too. Its got a good reputation.
