Is there anyway which I can move my iTunes library from "My Music" to an external hard-drive without my music going on iTunes?

What does "Edit" then "Preferences" then "Advanced" then "General" do?

I just remembered than a good few hundred of my songs were oringally in "My Music" and I dragged them over into my iTunes, so if I move my iTunes library will I have to add the songs from "My Music" into iTunes again?

If you're letting iTunes manage your music (need to tick the option in Preferences), I don't believe you'll have to do this.
