woefull coverage of nationals

    Did anybody watch the terrible coverage on rte today? It was like-ok we have to show something however its gaa time now so lets cut it short and put the bogball on again! it cut to the gaa straight after the mens 1500mt just when kiernan was about to say something..and as for that idiot presenting the show!!
    It really is a poor mans sport..

    I have become used to it at this stage, RTE's coverage of atheltics in general is terrible whether it be the nationals or the world championships and I can guarentee you I wont be watching the olympics on RTE too. Even on the news there is very little ever said about athletics but I guess the sport is not mainstream enough for them anymore, unless there are Irish Athletes are winning medals neither RTE or the general public care much, at least thats my experience, although you can't really blame them for this.
