Other than the usual googling, does anyone know of any particularly good value car hire places in the Toronto area?

    Thanks.

Hi I rented a car for the week with insurance here in Toronto last week from http://autowisecarrentals.com/specials.asp (they give you a free upgrade with that coupon)

They picked me up at the airport and brought me to their offices (2 mins from the airport) it was relatively easy, the price was fine but the taxes were a kick in the teeth, it ended up costing me $550 for a large car (a nissan something or other) with unlimited mileage and insurance

    I hope that helps!

At the mo my best deal is €326 all in for two weeks with Hertz for a ford focus.

Interestingly its about €90 less than going in though the Canadian site.

Have found some local dealers too but to be fair, €326 for 2 weeks is a good enough price.
