I started watching the Wire on FX on 23 July last year as they started showing it again from Season 1. Thankfully I had Sky+ so I banked up a few episodes and started on a journey. It's been great. The highs and the lows, each week I have become more and more emotionally invested, which probably sounds a little overdramatic, but I can't help feeling a little melancholy on the eve of Season 5, I think I'll actually miss it. For a year now I have been following the lives of these people and in a funny way they have become part of mine. Hard as it is to watch, I love the way they don't all live happily ever after. But let's face it, in 'real' life the good guy doesn't always finish on top, sh1t happens to people who don't deserve it. Don't really have a question, just wanted to mark the moment!
