Can't send caller ID

I noticed some time ago that my N95 was not sending the caller ID. I put it down to do with me upgrading the firmware to V20. Last week I got around to upgrading to V21 thinking that this would solve my problem - it didn't!

For the hell of it I tried the SIM in a 6230i and low and behold - it would not send the Caller ID! If I have the Send Caller ID Set by Network It does not work but if I have it set to Yes then I get this message as the phone is dialing the number Check Caller ID Sending Service.

I decided I would get a new SIM so I called into Vodafone where they gave me a new SIM, told me "That should sort it" and sent me on my merry way - It didn't!

It still will not send the Caller ID! Is there a chance my phone has become X Directory or something?
