Lidl Silvercrest DVD - Problem

Hi All, Has anyone got the Lidl Silvercrest DVD player with the USB port. Any new AVI Divx file will play ok on this dvd, but there is no sound. Whats the story with new coding for divx that these players wont recognise sound? Anyone shed some light Cheers Fint
