OK so this is coming from the parts for trade thread but I'm not looking for a trade because I'm moving soon and cant take anything at the moment.
I hope admins dont mind me posting this here. Its just for boards.ie'rs first. Not on sale on eBay or anywhere else.
Briankeating (1st) and Stuf have first refusal on the two frames cos they were interested, but if they're not, they're anyones - and I'll gladly listen to any offers too (I have to start shifting some of this stuff!)

The first one is a resprayed Raleigh, here's some pics of it. The original paint job was looking a little ragged so I painted it in brilliant white again, like the Schwinn. Thats €45. Comes with the forks which I havent painted yet, can do them for you in a burnt red, royal blue or the same brilliant white. Its just the frame and forks (no headset unfortunately)

The other one is another Peugeot, and its the one I've been posting about in this thread asking how to get the cranks off. I havent tried to hammer anything yet, cos I've only got a small engineer's hammer, and my hand is still a bit gammy from the DIY surgery episode, so I think I'm going to pass it on to whoever wants to have a go with it. The forks from this are bike are gone, so you'd need to pick up 1" threaded forks with a 180mm steering column. I'll be in London soon and I'll be heading to Brick Lane Cycles who apparently have loads of them there, I could suss it out for whoever buys the frame and buy you forks if you were interested (you can also get them cheap on eBay all the time!). This too needs a headset. Its (bk's or stuf's or) yours for 20 euro. Its a real nice frame. I also just had a check with the mavic/system ex wheel currently installed on the eBay Raleigh (plug!) to see if the chainline would run from the existing crank - only on the inner chainring, I think its a 39t, so you'd want a 13 or 14t sprocket if you wanted to leave it like that I guess. Only 20 quid for this one. You can see photos of the crank in the other thread.

Mocked up with the rear wheel (front wheel and forks arent with this one). The chain is slack but as I said it runs true with the inner chainring.

Finally, I have some old silver cranks that would do for a fixie. They're long enough, maybe 175 or 180mm? I'm too tired to go back out to the yard again now to measure, I'll do it later if people are interested. Fit onto a standard square tapered bottom bracket. I dunno on the price... maybe €20? Offers welcome. I have some crap chainrings as well if you're really looking to do it for next to nothing, but treat yourself and buy a nice one... :)
The cranks are available to everyone - first some first served.

Any questions, queries etc dont hesitate to ask...

ill take the white frame if neither of the two lads want it

I meant to say as well that I have the old forks from the Peugeot in case you wanted them to bring into a shop for looking for a replacement (they're damaged, I think well beyond repair, but if you wanted to have a go at setting them back into shape then you could try)

Paddyb the white frame is yours if Stuf doesnt want it.

I might still try and have a go at removing the cottered cranks on the Peugeot, if I can get my hands on a lump hammer.

What size is the peugeot frame? I'll gladly take it off your hands if it is a 58 or thereabouts...

no thanks flickerx - my new frame should arrive tomorrow and I'm going to learn to walk in the bike building business before I get too carried away. Thanks for holding out for me - been visiting the folks with limited internet access

Cool so. Paddyb the white frame is yours. I'll PM you so we can organise a collection.

Thesunwashot, I think the peugeot is ok, possibly a 58 or 59. I'll PM you too.
