Dominican Republic - Budget Travel

I see Budget travel are now doing packages to the Dominican Republic. Has anyone been there before and has ideas on the resort they are offering and the hotels there? I presume it is a chartered plane straight to the country too? General info on holidays there would be much appreciated too!

I just booked a 2 week holiday in january with budget to the dom rep, i read alot of reviews before i booked and its supposed to be great out there. we are staying at the Puerto Plata Village which was the cheapest resort on budgets website but reading the reviews on numerous websites about puerto plata village i was glad i booked it.
