Always did like the Westwood as a venue - Will this be a regular Sunday thing or just a one off?

If I get a good turnout in August then this will be run every month. The Westwood have been very positive about this and would like to see it become a regualr event.

Yeah it is a superb venue. The numbers for the game there a few years back were good so hopefully they wil be this time round.

I'll also be looking for a €25/€25 pub game in the city centre.

Just to let players know that you can register for this tournament at any time in The Westwood Hotel reception. Simply leave your buyin plus reg and you name address and a contact number with reception to guarantee your place in the tourny.

Also as a bonus for anyone who registers on or before Saturday 30th August your name will be placed into a draw to win €50 cash on the day. The draw will be made on Sunday 31st just before the tournament begins.

hi, 60 players max.... i dont know if il be able to play till that weekend. will ye be strict on the 60 limit entry? wouldnt want to miss this tourney.

At the minute we have room for 60 players, if however closer to the time the numbers fill up then we should be able use another room to accomodate more people. As players start to register early i'll keep you updated on the numbers.

Ok guys with raceweek now over and a degree of normality back i'm going to start advertising this tourny. If anyone is interested in taking flyers to help promote this (as it is the first one) pm me.

Also would any Galway players be interested in a private cash table fortnightly/weekly in this venue? €1/€2 Pot limit ROE? 5% capped at €15?

I will be talking to the Hotel Manager today about this. The game would be located in a private room, have a professional dealer with free food provided all night. Either a Friday or Saturday night starting at 9pm and finishing when the players finish. Let me know here sure.
