What are your expectations? Do you sincerely just want to find out how the person is, or are you hoping it will lead to something? Be honest with yourself. Then decide if it's possibly worth losing your family over. (That's assuming a lot, but you have to realize what that could lead to.)

The-Rigger has the answer to your question, "the one that got away!" Where is he when you need him? AWOL! Now, how about a picture of a huge fish, symbolizing the one that got away? Nesters? Anyone want to help this otherwise happily married whomever? Think FISH!*

*Things are always fishy on TCN!

i just want to understand what went wrong and what they are feeling towards me now ?
i`d like to chat see how they have grown over that past five six seven years and also understand why the choose the path they did ?

i think it`s beacuase there are so many questions not answered theres a huge void i wouldn`t change anything or a minuite since then my life now has everything except answers to questions i have .

i`m not sure it was my fault at the time i was told it wasn`t their was an age gap but i didn`t mind ... a death in the family did drive us apart ? but that should of made us stronger ..

i`d just like five mins but i could do all this for them to turn their back on me .... maybe it`s just me maybe they don`t want to talk to me ...

what would i do if i got in contact and they said go away ....

A death in the family doesn't strengthen the unit

the question is not whether or not should you do it, but rather why are you on the internet looking for morale support to commit adultery and potentially destroy your marraige, off of strangers (actually scratch that last bit, thats a PI answer and this is the cuckoo's nest :o)

    cuckoo nest answer:

yeah man you should totally do it.......go hit them b1tsches up.....get yourself some of that good hoochy-momma loving......fcuk the consequences!!!

I apologize; I am a n00b and did not understand the culture of the Cuckoo's Nest. In all honesty, it sounds as though you're bored in your marriage, or you wouldn't be having obsessive thoughts about former flames in the first place. Why not spice things up by planning a romantic evening date with your SO? The best thing would be to make him believe it's going to be something rather lame and ordinary, then take him to a swingers' club and insist he watch you have sex with another man, and vice versa. I don't see anything but positive results in your future if you follow my advice.

Typical The-Rigger! I ask for a FISH and he gives me a jack rabbit with a flap jack on its nose. Geeeeeeeeeez! It's so hard to get good help these days in the Nest!

Now you Nesters must admit that it's truly rare to get a PI question on TCN, so we should make the most of it!

You should know by now he's a bit of a cod; still, I guess the plaice wouldn't be the same without him ...
