    Campagne

Due to open in August 2008, marketing info below

Garrett Byrne, head chef at the award winning and critically acclaimed Chapter One Restaurant Dublin, is to return to his native city of Kilkenny and open his own restaurant. A 70-seater restaurant, called Campagne, will offer modern French-style cuisine and be competitively priced to appeal to diners who want excellence at an affordable price. Work is currently underway at 5 Gashouse Lane to transform the interiors for its anticipated opening in late August. Upon completion, Campagne will comprise 2,500 sq. with its own reception area, bar, dining area and an open kitchen.

There's already an eatery there - Foodworks. Have never been in there though.
