I'm currently in the land of the bat**** insane (San Francisco), have an interview with some place that's kinda like starbucks.

    Here's the application form questions:
What do you think you would like about working at Toaster Oven?
Where do you see yourself in five years?
What makes you the most happy?
Describe a specific situation where you have provided or received excellent customer service:
Do you consider yourself a fortunate person and why?
Your idea for a reality TV show:

I'm so stuck for work at this stage i'm willing to lie my arse off!

Any suggestions as to how I should answer any of these questions?

2 - Where do you see yourself in five years?
3- What makes you the most happy?

6 - Your idea for a reality TV show:

Ok, to me questions 1 & 2 are normal for any interview / application. Question 3, nothing strange there, what makes you happy? Question 4 is a general question for working in hospitality, but questions 4 & 5 are a bit weird - why do they need to know what you think will be a reality TV show???!!?

maybe worth popping into the local store and seeing what type of staff they have (are they bubbly? a bit loony? ...etc...etc

I would at a guess say the tv show question might be just a way of finding out your personality

question 5 - I would say is your outlook on life - once again a personality type question when you think about it

I've been to the place, staff seem sane enough. Yeah it's the last question that really fsckin gets me! Can I write that I$&^£% hate reality TV shows?

    Reality TV shows:

    Suckerpunch
    Mystery Injection
    Tied to a Bear
    Celebrity Mystery Injection

I could think of some original ones too if I were bothered - it's probably the easiest question of the form to be honest!

Maybe they want to get in early on a slice of the action if you plan to make a 'Take 8 people, put them working in a coffee house/bakery, watch the dough fly' routine.

    Or maybe they're loons.

Get 10 people, put them in a house. They're not allowed to talk to each other. The only way they can communicate with each other is via an Internet forum.

    Standard enough.

Say some bull**** like after working a hard week, knowing I've done a good job, being able to relax on my days off doing things I enjoy, such as playing football with my friends or spending time with my family.

    Something gay like that.

    This one should be easy.

They simply want to know if you are a happy person. Say you have a good life, with great friends and family, and things have worked out well for you.

Refer them to Brass Eye's Paedophile Island.
