to be honest... this trailer doesn't really raise my expectations to any great height. The abysmal season 2 is still just too fresh in my memory. I'm now afraid they're going to bend over backwards to "give the fans what they want" here and the narrative is going to suffer as a result.

Time will tell.

anyone ever see the phantom edit? its a edited version of starwars episode 1 without jar jar, quite well done two, Maybe some will do that with season 2, cut out the story about those two people from south america and edit the cork story down.

after volume 1 they found out what we liked. in volume 2 they found out what we hated. hhopefully volume 3 will reflect that.

The trailer itself looks okay, but of course it's impossible to judge how good it will be based on a short promo! The last bit with Pete and Claire was interesting though!

The evil pyro guy looks cool, bets Peter gets toasted only to regenrate at least once in the season.

Also the Claire/Peter bit at the end, the first thing that sprang to my mind was a doppleganger/ shapeshifter. Could explain Nathan and Nikki...somehow.

The Claire Peter bit at the end showed Peter with the Scar across his face. That's the future Peter, and will probably play into the bit we were left with in season 1.

Remember, in season 1 Sylar found Claire and took her powers...he was also a shape shifter - though the gun part....I dunno. Maybe it's another way of messing with Pete's head. It's pretty easily done.

Anyone else think the peter character is another Keanu Reaves? lol

He's not so much a shape shifter, but he can make illusions, as Candice could. He took her brain/abilities in the first few episodes of season 2...not sure if he still has them, though i doubt it.

The scene where Claire shoots Peter was definatly the future. Not sure how Peter gets the scar now, but i guess we'll find out eventually.

since sylar was powerless when he killed the twin and Candice ... will that mean he didn't understand/take their ability?

Also how stupid is future claire? what is the point of the gun, she knows peter can stop it ....

Sorry the shape shifter thing I meant to say shifting the shape of reality. The illusionist. Or at least he looked like Nathan when he met with Claire - and took her powers. It was Claire.

Yeah in THIS future (future to season 1) he didn't get Candice's powers, but possibly it could have been Candice in the alternate future (the one that future hiro with the slick hair came from).

Mohinder gets a power/powers, sweet... does of course open the door for a more numerous and endless stream of "special" people.
And we find out that Sylar studying a person's brain to learn how their power works doesn't involve him eating them.

Looking forward to this series so far, the
