    Limerick to beat Meath @ 3/1

    The bet of the weekend no doubt. Home advantage and with nothing to lose really, I feel Limerick are certainly good enough to beat Meath. How will Meath react to being sucker punched by Wexford? How will Limerick react to their heart-breaking loss to Cork? It should be an entertaining tussle.

    Wexford to beat Dublin @ 7/2

    Me thinks Wexford have the artillery upfront to trouble the Dubs, so it all depends on how their suspect full back line holds up against Brogan, Quinn and co. Certainly worth a punt. Speculate to acumulate and all that...

    Limerick maybe but Wexford aren't going to beat Dublin, they may be a decent bet on the handicap of 5 or more but Dublin usually play very well after they get a scare like they did against Westmeath.

    The only money to be made this wkend is on accumalators I reckon.

    Betting on more than one team to win. Even if you go for all the favourites the odds lengthen, eg Dublin, Tyrone, Meath would be all red hot favourites to win but if you do an accumulator bet on all three you may get odds of 5-1.

    Yeah i know what an accum is but i wanted to know what his bet was on :o I've had bad experiences with accums. At least 1 team always lets me down :(

    Limerick are 4/1 with Paddy Powers. Good bet.

    Did Kavanagh to score first goal in L'ford/Laois game at 10/1.

    Not much value in betting this week so did a couple of handicaps:

    Dublin -4 21/20
    Down 8/13
    Louth +5 4/5
    Limerick +4 EVS

    Galway, Dublin, Armagh, Derry, Down, Laois, Limerick

    I don't know why everyone is tipping Limerick to beat Meath. Won't happen.

    Perhaps not, but its a distinct possibility. And at 4-1 its a good bet.

    Agree completely and im from Limerick. Meath should have beaten Wexford instead they inexplicably imploded in the 2nd half. Wont happen again. Meath by 4-5 points!

    Went Donegal, Tyrone, Down, Westmeath, Dublin and Armagh as an accumulater.

    Then Cavan, Longford and Limerick as a real outside bet!

    Down had good odds to be highest scoring match.

    I am serious - dont waste your hard earned money man. The best bet between these two games is for Meath to still win after handicap of 4 points is taken away from them at even money. €50 on this.

    Going for a €30 double on;
    roscommon +8 ( donegal never seem to do things easy)
    kildare -1 (cavan missing a good few)

    Doing a €1 lucky 15 too on the following to be draws;
    mon v derry 13/2
    off v down 7/1
    long v laois 13/2
    lime v meath 9/1

    Check out the gambling forum, there's always some good discussion on value accummalators. But since you asked.

    Waterford, Tyrone, Laois, Donegal, Derry & Westmeath all to win pays 51.94 off a tenner. Add in Dublin a 1/3 for another few quid.

    I fancy Limerick against meath as a good value bet and as stated before Wexford are evs with +4, not a bad bet either as I don't think they'll be hammered.

    :D Made a nice few bob on this. Didn't expect them to win by that much but they were totally over priced at 4/1.

    I have serious grovelling to do, I thought that Meath were going to win this one handy. Sorry to Limerick for underestimating yis.

    Dublin and Armagh tomorow and I'll be ok. Though Fermanagh would be better as I bet on them each way at the start for Ulster.

    A fool and his money soon parts ;)

    I put €20 on an accumulator bet of Westmeath, Donegal, Limerick, Down, Tyrone and Dublin that worked out at 15/1. I orginally fancied Wexford to cause a shock, but i decided against it, i don't think it was ever a real prospect. Lucky for me :p
