    Hi,
    I just got Sky+ and I'm lovin' it :)

I'd like to be able to watch whatever is showing on the Sky+ box in another room. I don't need to be able to change channels as per the Sky Link facility, so I presume I should be able to just run coax to the other TV. I have done this already and tried it out. I get a perfect picture, but no sound. Is there something I need to enable in the menus to get sound? I tried both RF Out 1 and 2.

Thanks in advance for anyt help.
    Stu.

I think it may be a problem with tuning on your second TV. You may need to change the audio parameters in manual tune mode. Usually you'd have options like D/K, I, BG, etc. You need it set on I for sound here. Worth a check anyway

I agree with Byte. You are using a multistandard TV set for use in Europe. Change the setting to PAL-I.

The other possibility is that you have a Digibox with a very rare PAL-G conversion by Kesh Electrics fitted. (www.pacelink.co.uk )

Or water has got down the aerial coax and corroded away the audio connection inside (very rare indeed!)

It's not the tuning or the power as there is picture.

It is either a faulty modulator or TV is not set to PAL I

Also try Digibox setup menu, audio level, see if changing that makes the audio come.
