Buying Pheasants

    Hey everyone,

    Just wondering if anyone knows somebody selling fully grown pheasants in the Waterford, Killkenny,Cork area.

    Any info would be great

    You need to find someone who is selling poults as they may be trying to get rid of their laying stock now.

    The local club buy them in from some fella in Kerry - who in turn buys them in from the UK. AFAIK they were fully grown and about €14 each!
    There was a thread about this before I think because I remember writing the above more or less.
    Ring the NARGC for help?

    14 euro seems alot for full grown birds. just my opinion though...

    There is a crowd in clare as well near sixmilebridge, dont have any more infor though. Price seems ok.

    Hi SUTTONGUN,

    The guy that supplies us is from Co Cork. He charges €4:80 for 7-8 week old poults. Cocks only if thats what you are looking for. He also sells adults but it is a little late to look for them at present. You might be lucky though. He was selling adults for €10-12 last year. PM me and I will forward you his number.
