Pictures of you in a bath go a long way

    /insidejoke

Word of mouth, get in and try and do a few sets in a bar/club etc. That's really the best way.

I have been getting loads of work in Kerry but not so much up here.
Everyone seems to be using companies up here.

Good looking site but you need to re word the text.... I would book on first looking at the site after reading the text im put off!!

There are alot of sites you can get a presence on for you and your website example: www.djs4u.ie then you can target segmented markets i.e
    the wedding market www.weddingsonline.ie,
    the Debs market www.debsball.ie

research on google for more of these

go to the hotels and talk to the managers/event managers and tell them that you usually charge €x but that you'll do a gig/reception for them for €x-1. that will get you going, and then when you get going (of course, only if you're a good dj), you'll be able to stick your foot in the door properly.

thats how the dj's down this direction got to where they are - on the backs of the hoteliers recommendations.
