Just wondering if anyone wants to get involved with this.

I've been reading around about how to get more traffic to my blog and the best ways seem to be social networking via the likes of Digg or Stumbleupon.

I've read that one of the best ways to increase traffic is to form a blogroll group that self stumbles/diggs itself.

The way it would work would be that the poster of the blog entry adds their blog to whatever social networking site they choose (digg and stumbleupon are the best) then they post here requesting stumbles/diggs for their blog. They would in turn then stumble/digg other users blogs.

    What do people think?

That kind of thing is frowned upon. A lot. The best advice I can give you is don't do it, unless you don't care about the publicity being bad publicity.

Submitting your own content is not against the rules (as far as I know), but it should be relevant to whatever categories you post it under and of high quality. The best way to get people to notice your stuff is to just make sure it's good...

Participating in those kind of 'gaming the system' schemes will get you nowhere.
