    hey guys
iv recently purchased a nokia 6300 after spending 4 years with teh nokia 6310i
i used to get about 1.5 weeks to a charge out of the 6310i, but im barely getting a day out of the 6300!
i have optimized all teh settings, i.e. activated powersave, changed the background to a dull color etc, still though im got getting more than a day to a charge.
is there any good phone out there, with decent battery anymore??

i heard th the sony ericson k770i is alrite, any thoughts on this?

    thanks for lookin',
    Ed

What sort of features are you looking for in a phone? What features do you use a lot currently? Also, just how "recently" did you get your phone? Certain battery types won't perform 100% until after a few full circles... I recently bought a new battery for my 2 1/2 yr-old e61, and at first I thought what a rip-off, cause it wasn't as good as when the phone was new, but after a couple of weeks I'm back to 3 days with heavy gprs use etc etc...
Also: do you store a lot of stuff on a memory card? Background "services" like indexing your content etc all take resources/power!

generally, yeah: SE's midrange java phones have quite good battery life spans... Though workwise I use a wm device so I'm used to charging all the time, and it doesn't bother me so much!
