Is there any solid proof which is better the other ,as I cannot seem to see any difference in general, maybe it is on the high end stuff! I have had Nikon's for years from the F80 to the D70 and now the D300, and at no time was I willing to change and am very happy with my current equipment. Still have all my old gear.

I have a Canon 450D and I am very happy with it, but as the saying goes 'The grass is always greener on the other side', and as such I would love someday to buy a Nikon...
