Ribbon Cable Extender

Hi all, The keyboard on my sony laptop is in the wars. I have another Sony keyboard which will fit perfectly, but the ribbon cable is about half an inch too short. Is there such a thing as a ribbon cable extender?

Don't know of any ribbon cable extenders, what ya could try is using the ribbon cable from the old keyboard and use it to extend the new keyboard.

Make sure the new keyboard ork before you make any modifications
