Friday beers, anyone going?

Since some of us can't make the Nocturnal beers meet-up in august (and by some of us I mean me :P) I was wondering if anyone else from on here is going to the impromptu beers this Friday?

I know, they don't have impromptu beers these days like they used to in our day eh?

Apart from having drank too much last week I also hate my job and like alcohol. I'm in work at 9 on saturday morning so it shan't be a late one but you shoudl still come!

Im a total newbie to this thread, but i do tend to stay up late. Id be up 4 heading to Mercantile tomorrow. Haven't anything else planned!
But whole thing of wandering in alone to a group of strangers might be a bit much to be honest. I am kinda quiet, so am not just gonna stroll in & be everyones friend!

Although i remember once going to a internet organised meet up once when the oul interweb was still young. I spent an entire day and night smiling politely at people while praying to the angel gabriel to come down and bite my face off and end my misery, it's pretty much scarred me for life with the whole internetz meet up thing.

I won't be there at the start, but if you reply in the other thread (the one I linked to up at the start of this thread) and explain that in your post, just ask someone to pm you their number so you can give them a shout when you are outside and they will some out to meet you. We've all been in the same position before, it's no hassle at all

After the beers a couple of weeks ago I ended up in a boardsies house drinking wine and playing twister at 5 in the morning with other users (there are pics of that on here somewhere, I swear it's actually true) and the ones last week started in Dublin City and I woke up in Maynooth. Boards sessions are anything but boring my friend

After the Beer Guts one I woke up on an empty bus half way between Swords and Donabate. Its a miracle I made it home before sunrise!

Yesterdays beers was good. Not as many folk as the last one. i guess that's the 'inpromtu' thing coming into effect.
