Getting dell printer working with macbook

I know dell don't make drivers for macs, but is there any way to get it working using something like crossover or even having windows installed on the macbook but still being able to print from os x?

The printer is a Dell AIO 962.

Any help appreciated, i convinced my dad to go mac, and he's not exactly gelling with it.

I tired this in the past with a Dell printer with no luck.

I think they're actually Lexmart rebadges, but getting the relevant lexmart drivers doesn't work either.

But with windows installed you should be able to use it. Rebooting into windos to print something might be a bit of hassle though.

And if that fails try adding it as a generic printer (you wont have all the options but it should print).

don't think they're lexmark, I've installed a couple of samsung drivers to get the dell printers working on a mac network, google the type of printer, download the driver or comparable driver and install it that way. GIMP may help you.

manged to get a basic "dell" printer working by installing the relevant lexmark printer in the past

dell offer some OS X drivers now for some printer models

I'm sorry but how would Gimp work? I presume that you are talking about something other than the image manipulation programme but what is it?
