Late Cao offer

I was very unsure which forum to post this in, but basically I have an issue with An Post. Basically I applied as a mature student for a course on the Cao. I got accepted but the letter notifying me of my offer arrived later then the reply date for accepting my offer, basically due to late delivery by An post. My college place is now uncertain because of this.

Is there anyway of tracking the letter back or proving it was delivered late?

If this is the wrong forum for this directing me to a more relevant forum would be much appreciated...

Tracking a letter/parcel is only possible if you have a receipt, they are not issued as a norm for regular post - it would need to be registered.

You could take this up with customer services.

For important documents, always, ALWAYS use registered post.

Tracking post would be a waste of your time as not possible. Focus on the college. Similar situation happened to me and the college just added an extra place that year to accomodate me
