What's the best way to get from Abh Dhabi to Dubai?

Would a taxi be the easiest option?

Its about an hour and a halfs drive between the two I think so a taxi may work out fairly expensive. Keeping in mind the traffic in the two cities as well ...

I'm fairly certain a friend of mine got a bus from Abu Dhabi to Dubai last time she was there. I cant remember the exact details though.

Are you staying in Abu Dhabi for a while or a straight transfer ?

If staying there i'd call the hotel and ask them. If going straight from the airport then maybe a taxi.

If you are travelling from Ireland to Abu Dhabi with Etihad airlines, they provide a free luxury coach transfer between Abu Dhabi airport and Dubai, Al Ain and Sharjah. If you are travelling business class its a limousine transfer.
If you wish to avail of the transfers you just need to tell them when booking.

Sadly I'm going via London with KLM. I read about the Etihad bus - could other passengers pay for it?

A taxi isn't crazily expensive, I have done it a few times.
