Puzzlemaniak will keep you going for ages. He's deep into iPhone development at the moment, but the DS version is complete. Download Page.

Pocket Physics isn't really a game, but a physics simulation. Don't let that put you off! This is a genius program that can spend alot of time playing about with....

    Agreed! It's brilliant.
What I'd love though is something like the Incredible Machine. Anyone know of anything similar to this? (homebrew or not)

Yep, I read last week that there are 2 Incredible Machine-type games out this year.

    More here.

I think Super Smash Bros. Rumble has great potential. It's only on it's third Alpha but the dev is working quite hard on it and it does seem to be progressing well:

What would be the best card to get? Im strongly considering getting one. How big are the homwbrew apps? and what size of card would you recommend getting?

The CycloDS is the best card in my opinion. Homebrew varies widely in size but they're usually only 2-3 mb each. Probably get a 2gb SD card cause you wont even notice how quickly you'll run out of space.

Well they did have them on DX a few weeks ago cheap but I was just looking and they don't seem to be there anymore. I got mine on ConsoleUP. Also there is a list of resellers on the team Cyclops website that might help.
