I saw a few therads in a search but nothing specific. I have NTL digital + Broadband. I want to cancel the TV altogether and get sky instead, but, I want to keep my 20mb broadband.

Do I have to keep the analogue TV to have the BB?

Or (it seems) pay €4 a month for the phone service (and maybe not use it)..

The €6 standalone charge still applies if you take the phone service with BB, so you'd be paying €10 extra.

Do they come out and disconnect tha cables and take the boxes away or simply turn off the card access remotely?

Sorry for Hijacking, but I thought it better than starting a new thread.

I have the Digital Max package with NTL and have just signed up to Sky.
Im about to run the gauntlet of NTL customer telephone service. Is there anything I need to be armed with to cancel?

    EDIT
Well my experience has so far been met with unanswered telephones.
I guess Ill have to try them later on.

    To Jimmycrackcorm,
what they do is call out and take away the digi box.All you have to do is tell them i want to keep your broadband and grt out your digi package and see they might offer you a deal. They did with me 3 months sports and movies for €23. I still cancelled after the 3 months was up.
