Have a number of the boxes in use, service is good, it just works, no quality issues.

Cheers, and are the rates to mobile as per the rates listed on the website ?

Yep, rates are correct, ive also ran connection directly from asterisk instead of using their box no problem.

    Some further questions:

    - Does I need to use anything from Eircom e.g. phone adaptor, etc. to make this service work ? Or can I just use my own VOIP Phone and Base station (C475IP) ?

    - If I drop my talktime package, and just have broadband and broadband talk, do I pay line rental now also ?

You get SIP userid & pw that you enter into the eircom ATA. I suppose you could enter them in your own ATA or VoIP client but eircom would be unlikely to support you if you have problems.

You still need to pay line rental as eircom do not currently have a "naked DSL" offer

:( They don't spell this out very well in their FAQ on Broadband talk. So 5euro per month is really 25euro or thereabouts including line rental.

Could somebody PM or share here the Eircom SIP server settings. I got Zyxel last week, doesn't seem to work. This has now escalated into a "line fault", my BB is working fine, my blueface was working fine (3 yrs). Eircom not.
