    Howdy peoples,

I am looking for a new phone as I am going to Canada in a few weeks and I need something to communicate with my friends. I really don't need anything else, but for it to be a Meteor phone, and for it to be usable in Canada (I assume if I just bring it over there it will work?).

Can someone please help me out, I've looked into the different "bands" and stuff and it gets very confusing !

    Thanks a lot !:)

Why does it need to be Meteor?! You do know your free texts won't work over there and that!?

You'd prob be better off buyong a cheap one over there really!

Are you planning on going on Pay as you go in Canada? I was there over Christmas, and it's not nearly as easy as it is over here...

Canada only has one mobile operator that is GSM, that is Rogers. So you should be able to roam with all the cheap Meteor phones.

I was roaming with Rogers when I was there a few weeks ago.
