I was looking through old messges and I found Big Ears P4P top ten from two years ago. Here it is

    1.Damaen kelly
    2.Wayne McCullough
    3.John Duddy
    4.Bernard Dunne
    5.Kevin McBride
    6.Brian Magee
    7.Billy Corcoran
    8.James Moore
    9.Eamon Magee
    10.Kevin O'Hara

Now what is the current one?

Surely Paul Hyland, Paul McCloskey, Andy Murray, Andy Lee, Matthew Macklin must be in there?

Rogan??? Surely not... Who else has come on the scene in the meantime??? Bily Walsh anywhere close?

    Well last month I had:
    1.John Duddy
    2.Matthew Macklin
    3.Paul McCloskey
    4.Bernard Dunne
    5.Andy Lee
    6.Brian Magee
    7.Martin Lindsay
    8.James Moore
    9.Andrew Murray
    10.Stephen Haughian
    11.Neil Sinclair
    12.Oisín Fagan
    13.Jim Rock
    14.Jason McKay
    15.Patrick Hyland
    16.Eddie Hyland
    17.Henry Coyle
    18.Paul Hyland
    19.Michael Gomez
    20.Martin Rogan

But since then Duddy, Dunne, Brian Magee, Paulie Hyland, Fagan, Murray, Patrick Hyland and Jim Rock have all fought .

McCloskey, Lee, Lindsay, Moore, Haughian, McKay and the 3 Hyland's are all fighting again soon(and possibly a few others) so I'll look at updating it in the near future but one thing is for sure and that is Paul Hyland will be moving up a bit .

How do you compile it bigears? Is it a comination of career achievements, record, level of opposition, current form, how regular they fight etc?

Everything is taken into account with recent wins and achievements being the main criteria .

    Barrett hasn't fought for 3 years .

Magee drew with Tony Oakey for the British title recently enough and has kept active since giving Froch his toughest test to date . Defeating good fighters such as Andrew Lowe, Paul David(a lot better than his record looks) and Tyrone Wright . He'll be getting a crack at the Commonwealth title down at Super-Middleweight soon(he's mandatory) , and while that doesn't have anything to do with my ranking of him it shows he's actually done something in the present and not just relying on having once been a very good fighter(such as Sinclair) .

Lindsay is one of our best prospects, he's looked fantastic nearly all of the time and has got some okay wins in Canada . His opposition may not be outstanding, but then again neither has Lee's and Lindsay has dealt with his opposition even more impressively despite the low ko ratio . He's fighting for the NABA title next in a step up against Alberto Garza......he'll prove why he's ranked so highly .
