I have the phone. Battery life just a little less than 2 days depending on usage.

Browser lets me go on websites like AIB banking etc and pretty rock solid.

    Camera is ****e.

All in all I like the phone and if you're not looking for a camera then would recommend it - of course it all depends on what you want from a phone.

yeah camera ain't an issue really

anyone know what size memory card it can take, the max size

would def use the browser a bit, use the radio and probably the mp3 player

Someone in another thread said they have a 8gig card working in their e51 without problems.

It has the small headphone jack that most the other nokias have unfortunately. I have one now for just over two weeks and i really like it. Great browser, radio and mp3, and that is s60 means you can get so many cool applications for it. The camera isn't that bad. 2MP, would do for the odd pic or to capture so some drunk moments down the pub!

Yes, it is. I use it with a 8GB successfully. The will bring out 16GB cards later this Summer. SanDisk I think.

Best phone ive ever owned! Im actually getting 3 to 4 days battery on it, with fairly decent usage between calls and listening to music on it! WLAN is very good on it, though it does eat up the battery a bit!

Pity i've a nasty scratch on the screen though, had it charging it work and one of the girls kicked the power lead by accident and knocked the phone screen first across a tough tile floor!

Camera is worst I've ever encountered on a moden phone. Syncs beautifully with Apple Mac due to the Nokia plug-in. Slim, but feels nicely weighted in the hand. Maybe a wee bit heavy for a shirt pocket. My one's speaker packed in yesterday, so I can answer calls, but no-one can hear me. No stock in o2 Ennis, Shop St Galway, Parkway Limerick, so I'm going to try Blanchardstown or Tallaght tomorrow. Bad form for a 4 month old phone. A pity because it had nearly banished my desire for an iPhone 3G. Wifi/email works well, but screen is very small for web. Handy enough for emergency use only.

I got one 6 days ago, and so far, pretty impressed. As said above, camera is dire, especially compared to the K800i it replaced. That said, I don't take many photos. I was wary of getting another S60 phone after having an N80, which was rather slow IMO. However, I'm so far impressed with the E51, seems to fly along relatively quick.

I'm getting 3-4 days battery life which is OK, considering the features.

All I have to do now is get some memory and apps. :) And maybe try eradicating the o2 garbage installed.

just started using this as my second phone, changed over from my E50, for emailing and checking news on the net.

camera is a waste of time - there's a version on the market without the camera.

Camera isn't a total waste, it's good for a few quick snaps to email which is a seemless process.

As for you tube, set the access point in real player too because this is what it uses to play video.

I have had this for a while and its allright,
My main issues with it is the battery life is rubbish and unreliable.
Camera is not great but its not supposed to be good.
    Phone crashes fairly regularly.
On the plus side, the video camera isn't actually that bad and sound on videos it alot better than the k800i it was supposed to replace and it is alot of phone for its size and slap opera mini on that sucker and it is great.

Gone back to my SE for now as need my phone to be reliable.

Great phone, only two negatives the camera isn't as goos as other phone (it's designed as a business device though) and the browser had a habit of freezing sometimes.

Other than that it's a brilliant phone.

I was thinking of a E51 for the WiFi, but couldn't accept a bad camera after being used to the autofocus 2mp on the Sony's. What would be the alternatives to the E51. Sony's etc.

There aren't any. SE don't really have much of a presence in the enterprise market. Personally, I find modern SEs are lacking in terms of features; the K850 for example, a high end phone at it's price point should have had wifi and GPS.
