I was just onto richer sounds in Belfast inquiring about matching the price of £569 (~715 euro) for the Panasonic TH-37PX80B on offer in the Belfast Curry's. I got the response that Curry's are not offering (not an official retailer of panasonic) the 5 year warranty and the richer sounds price of £699 (~875 euro) includes the 5 year warranty, so they could match the Curry's price but will not give the 5 year warranty. This sounds a bit dodgy to me as i thought that it was a manufacturers warranty and not a retailers warranty.

If this is the case, is there anywhere in Ireland that is offering this model at a cheaper price than 875 euro that includes the 5 year warranty?

Also looking at getting one of either the TH-42PZ800B or TX-37LZD800 models, in addition to the TH-37PX80B model.
