Full Contact Kickboxing or Karate Clubs in Dublin?

Hi guys, Im just checking up something for a friend of mine. She's done kickboxing and karate before, and it was meant to be full contact but apparently they split the sparring by gender usually, and the girls would only go light/semi contact. This didn't sit too well with her, she's kinda the feisty type. Im not sure where this club was by the way, but she's no longer there and is looking to start up training again in either full contact kickboxing or karate again.
Ive already mentioned the Kyokushin karate dojos I know of to her, as well as the Muay Thai ones and she's interested in giving them a go. She's not really looking for MMA, more focused on doing a striking art.
If those don't pan out, what other good full contact kickboxing clubs or karate styles are there around the city?
    Thanks for any assistance.

    Where is she?.

On the northside I can recommend (from personal experience) Mugendo in Chanel college, Coolock village (I forget the nights and training times at the moment) but you can find that information HERE

Full contact fighting is encouraged for all sex's with these guys.

There are kickboxing clubs all over Dublin, but this is the only one I can speak with from experience.

'Jon' here is a northsider too, who is vastly more experienced than most here in kickboxing and TKD circles so maybe contact him for more info on clubs.

Southside you have Global in Westwood Sandyford, Ciaran Killmurry's club in Stillorgan and another Mugendo in Total Fitness Sandyford run by a chap called Terry.

Have trained with them all and would highly recommend them.

Sounds like she would enjoy Muay Thai, tell her to pop in to Bridgestone.

She's based in Finglas at the moment I think. Ive seen Mugendo show up a couple of times in discussions, they seem well respected. What are they like to train with?

Yep, Bridgestone was one of the places I was recommending to her. She hasn't done Muay Thai before but i'd say it would be right up her street. Thanks guys.

If its Kickboxing then i would recommend Mugendo is Chanel College in Coolock. I used to train there and it is very good for Kickboxing.

    What weight is she at?
Barbera Delaney runs FC kickboxing for women, she fights out of Prussia street. Plenty of sparring and ring fights down there.

Being a man with good self-preservation instincts, Ive never asked her exact weight. She'd be between 8-10 stone, and Im not sure what that translates into in female weight classes, I assume they're different than male ones?

She's welcome to come down to us for some training. We're on the Ballyboggan Road just beside the Wild West. We have a few girls and everyone does the same training and sparring, girls or fellas.

Is there any in Dublin 8,10, or 12. The southside ones mentioned are miles from those areas. I might give it a lash too:)
