yep, same thing when I ring. hardly waterlogged is it? Even if it is I didn't think they'd close the office!

or at least add a message to their voice answering machine saying

"Apologies the course is closed until xxxxx"

Not very professional...who runs that place???

I've a funny feeling it's Carr Golf. Could be wrong though. If it is, i wouldn't be surprised... their staff seem to specialise in ignorance and being unprofessional.

They're great at making you feeling that asking a simple question, like can i book a teetime, is a massive inconvenience to them.

If it's not Carr golf, i apologise, but at least i have that off my chest now.:D

    Hydrogen cyanide cylinders neutralised

    Thursday, 17 July 2008 10:52

Seven cylinders of hydrogen cyanide that were stored at a Rentokil facility have been chemically neutralised by South Dublin County Council.
US company Integrated Environmental Services, specialists in on-site management of waste, undertook the project at a County Council owned compound at Grange Castle, Co Dublin.
The Council says there was no risk to the public but the nearby golf course was closed during the process.

Four IES personnel travelled from Atlanta and used specialist equipment flown in from the US to complete the disposal.
