    Hi,

    I came across this Sony Vaio VGX-TP2S/B on the Sony website and I was wondering if anyone has got/seen this?

    Are they worth it?
    Are there better alternatives?

    I'm speaking from personal experience so don't let my opinion sway you, others may have had good experiences with them!. I currently have 3 Sony Vaio laptops sitting at home and the motherboard is knackered on all of them. They are around 18 - 24 months old. It seems to be a growing trend with Sony Vaios for some reason.

    Apparently BBC watchdog are putting together a program on them, specifically as the motherboards seem to go when they are just out of warranty and Sony customer service leaves a lot to be desired. There is uproar in the UK about them.

    I wouldn't buy one ever ever again, though saying that I know people that have had them and love them and never had a minutes trouble with them. It's seems to be hit and miss with them....

    I've a similar experience with them, where did you hear about watchdog? When will it be aired? Would love to throw that in their faces
