Depends what you need. Normal servicing parts a decent motor factor. Trim and panels... try a specialist. Been a while since I was after older Vx/Opel parts but there are suppliers out there... and ebay.

For speciality parts, a Opel dealer is really the only place to go, but shop around as they can be very expensive.

I get quite alot of parts on eBay, they are incredibly cheap compared to most (if not all) motor factors and dealers.

Opel dealer parts are fantastically priced at the moment. They always were too, very similar to factors.

You just need a sympathetic parts guy.......................where are you based ?

apart from trim/bodywork, every one of these ive seen and the japanese/english twin have more up to date engines... Why do people not keep the original lump ? i know it may be underpowered or less then reliable but im sure keep the car the way it came out of the factory is more important ??

sorry for going off topic a bit...

I pass a 5 door one in a field every week, silver or silver over black, hard to tell with the grass round it, its been in the one spot for at least 5 years. A lad here at work found a gold coloured saloon in a shed last year, new fuel pump (on the shelf at the Opel dealers) and away she went, I think its an 1983 1.6 Luxus
