Shower Tray Mess

Wondering if anyone could give me some advice regarding the finishing on a shower tray. Plumber intially put it in at the correct height but when the floors were poured it came loose. He redid it but this time he put it in too high and there's a gap of about an inch in places between the tile and the bottom of the tray.

It looks terrible and I don't know how to finish it so it looks decent. It's been suggested that the tiler put in slivers of tile all around the bottom of the tray to hide the gap but I'm not sure.

    Anyone any advice ?

How did it become loose after pouring the floor?

Now that is been put in at the new height is above floor and the gap is between the bottom of the floor and the tiles or the gap is around the shower tray base? If its the base get ur tiler to make up the space with slivers of tile as has been suggested...

We had something similiar and used some mosaic tiles which look well.

I'd have thought that mosaic is the best way to go aswell - cutting slivers of tile will be very messy and might not be the most attractive when finished. if you use a small mosaic tile it will also allow for any bevel or curvature on the shower tray itself. If the gap under the tray is an inch then you might want to pack this first so that the mosaic doesn't get damaged if it gets a kick later on.

Hi, we've got a similar problem right now.Replaced a bath with a new shower cubicle but because the waste pipe connection protrudes from the floor the plumber had to raise the shower on the legs that came with it for it to fit.Result is a small gap between the bottom of the shower panel and the newly tiled floor. Is there an adhesive that I could bead a line of down and bed a cut tile on its side in?
Thanks for any replies.Really want to have the bathroom finished off, its all new but this is a bit annoying!

Just get some white 25mm x 3mm bull nosed slip and glue it to the base of the shower tray with tech 7.
