can anyone tell me basically how much you have all paid for braces?

does the cost vary from ortho to ortho?

what about the dif from north/south?

are there differences between the ceramic and the metal ones re prices??

    thanks guys :)

Mine where about €4,000, based in Galway, metal.

When it comes to the north, don't forget the cost of getting up there and what not!

Mine will be 5,100 for ceramic uppers and metal lowers by the time I'm finished - Galway also. Its a bit cheaper (5% discount) if you pay all in one go up front but I've gone for paying a grand a quarter for the next while. The main factor for me was convenience - ortho is 5 mins drive from work and home so no hassle getting to appointments after work etc. Driving to the north once every 5 or 6 weeks would be too much of a pain in the ar*e for me- too lazy for that craic!
