Go old school on this. The GPO. That place could survive British shelling! Oh wait...

While it did that involved folks who didn't like getting shot. If there had been a mob of Folks not caring about if they lived or died I doubt they'd have lasted the week.
I personally don't see it as a good long term location. No food, No real comfort inside it and other than the roof no hand escape routes that are visable to me at least.

So I ask you thelastangryman what would you do to secure and defend this location?

You'd have to dig a tunnel to SuperMacs (Questionable food) and one to Bargaintown (Questionable comfort). Then maybe you could last a lil longer.

Theres always one Garda sitting outside the GPO (Great Place Oltogether) I'm sure he can hold off a few zombies with his batton.

Lol, you really do take this seriously don't you? I offered to show you in person how that place could be properly defended and why its an excellent location but you never showed. I was there.

By the way the zombies are a minor threat after the first few days. People would be the main problem and the GPO is ideal for defending against them.

How can one not take it Serious. You always need to be ready just in case.

I did see that offer. But alas not till after the time. And I have this thing about meeting strangers. My mother always told me not to do it for less that a tenner.
Anther smart man. And this is why I have my secondary site which will be where I hold up for the first two weeks of the invasion. It is a gated. Has easy to destroy stairwells and is close enough to the main site that I can in theory get to it with minimum effort. Plus it contains nothing of interest or importance that other folks may want.

Plus one Garda ain't gona do squat for you. He'll be on the other side quicker than superman in need of the Toliet.

    Heh, smart mammy :p.

Are they within sprinting distance of each other or at least jogging distance? I can picture the poor Garda. "I don't know how to get to ruarrraa. You will have to ask at the station just down the road"

Close enough that I won't break a sweat on my way there. One also currently has the added bonus of JCB parked outside it for the last 7 monhts.
That would be a convient mode of transport if the day comes and it's still there.
