Leaving Cert result on CV?

    Hi folks,

    I'm in my late 20s.
Went to college, but didn't complete degree (did 3 or 4 years - long story). Didn't get any qualification from this.

Studied an evening course and got an adv diploma from it.

I've very good work experience, and have always used this to progress wherever I work.

I still have my leaving cert results on my CV (full results) - should I delete them off by now? Am I too old for them to be reflective on my career?
Would employers still look at them?
Should I just mentioned '8 honours' or something like that?

    Thanks

    WM

I'd leave them on. Some employers like to see what you got in the Leaving.

I'm 29 and don't ever recall being asked for them in a job interview.

    HI WM,
I am in HR currently and i would definitely remove it from your CV, no need to mention leaving Cert at all, just put down your most recet qualifications, if you are in your late 20's then employers are looking for your experience rather than you results...

    best of luck

Personally I dont. I might leave in a section in the education section with something like "Leaving cert completed with XXX points". Usually works for me.

I have had some interviewers ask me to take my leaving results to the interview though.

yeah, this was what I was thinking. If I was early or mid-20s, It's make more sense.
