Has anyone any experience with these the only bad things ive heard is bad sound quaility.

Is true life worth the extra money or what do you think?

The only upgrade i have in that package is the screen in the package below the same specs were an extra 200 euro so it seems a very good price for what it is.

Looking at the 13" model best specs for the money i can come up with is this for €594

Basically im looking for a comprimise between something sleek and small and something reasonably cheap (arent we all)

id rather comprise on the size than the specs and def nothing over 600

so any other sugestions are very welcome.

    Looks good for the price.
What is the extra money for the truelife? I have a dell xps ith truelife and the pictur is far nicer than on my inspiron which has the same screen size and resolution but without the truelife.
I'd say the sound quality probably is crap, because the xps I got in the last few months and the sound is really tinny on it - the older inspron ha much better sound in fat so it seems like dell have cut back on the internal speakers. If that's an issue you can just get external speakers though. The sound is great on earphones - it's the speakers that are poor not the sound card.
Vostros are a good choice for value-for-money laptops really.

I have the 1310. The external speaker in it is AWFUL. I mean terrible. I had to turn on subtitles to watch DVDs. I'm already considering opening it up and replacing it with something better.

Also media buttons aren't great. They are touch sensitive but holding your finger on it does nothing. You basically have to tap it about 20 times to reduce the volume by half.

No other complaints other than that.
